PAYMENTS
You can pay by credit card (MASTERCARD, VISA, VISA ELECTRON, AMEX, DINERS), PayPal. The entire procedure takes place via a secure connection directly linked to the banking institution that owns and manages the online payment service and the data is transmitted in encrypted form via SSL protocol. This protocol guarantees the protection of data transmission and the decoding and/or counterfeiting of all confidential information.
CREDIT CARD
The data you provide will be collected exclusively by BIGFOOT. Remember that you will be solely responsible for the data entered, therefore use only credit cards that you have legitimate availability of. Payment by credit card may not be authorized for the following reasons:
- the credit card has expired
- the credit limit has been reached: check with your bank that the maximum amount allowed by the credit card for making purchases has not been reached. Some incorrect data has been entered: check that you have entered all the necessary fields correctly.
PAYPAL
PayPal is an electronic wallet that allows you to pay and receive money via the Internet. To use PayPal you need to register on the official website: registration is simple and free. You can top up your PayPal account with a bank transfer from your current account, or you can associate a credit card, a prepaid card or a bank account with your account. For more information on this payment method, please visit the PayPal website. If you have an active credit card on your PayPal account, the system allows you to save a recognition code so you don't have to enter your credentials again for future payments. The data you provide will be collected exclusively by BIGFOOT and transmitted to PayPal in encrypted form for their electronic storage. PayPal will store and process the aforementioned data independently, according to the highest security standards and solely to execute your purchases on our website www.lacarrie.it. You can deactivate the token (saving of your credit card data) at any time by contacting PayPal, or by typing 'Automatic Payments' while logging into your PayPal Account (this will direct you to the page containing the instructions for cancelling an automatic payment).
CLEARANCE
Klarna: a service that allows you to split the cost of your purchase on our site into 3 equal payments.
CURRENCY
The currency used is the Euro (EUR).
SHIPPING
Orders are processed Monday through Friday and are typically shipped the next business day after payment is confirmed.
All payments are subject to random checks by the payment circuits: until the conclusion of the checks, the payment of the order will be temporarily suspended and it is not possible for us to proceed with the shipment.
When the order will be handed over to the courier. The courier does not deliver on Saturdays and Sundays.
Orders may experience delays in shipping during the following holiday periods: January 1st, January 6th, Easter Monday and Easter Sunday, April 25th, May 1st, June 2nd, Week of August 15th, November 1st, December 8th, Week of December 25th, December 31st.
SHIPPING COSTS
Italy
Shipping is FREE for orders over €100.00. For orders under this amount, shipping costs €10.00. For most national shipments, lacarrie.it delivers within 48 hours of order processing.
EU countries
For European Union member countries, shipping is free for orders over €180.00. For orders under this amount, shipping costs €35.00. lacarrie.it delivers to most countries in 2-3 working days.
Rest of the World
lacarrie.it delivers to all countries in the world guaranteeing you maximum speed and accuracy in shipping. Shipping is free for orders over €250, for orders under this amount shipping costs start from €35.00. lacarrie.it will not be responsible for taxes or customs duties for non-EEC countries. RETURNS
You can make a return within 14 days from the date of delivery of the order. For customs reasons, it will not be possible to return the goods from a country other than the one in which we delivered the goods to you. The right of withdrawal can be exercised exclusively by the customer and in no case by the recipient of any gift. The substantial integrity of the product is an essential condition for exercising the right of withdrawal: used, dirty, damaged items following ordinary use, without tags and packaging materials will therefore not be refunded.
REFUND TERMS AND TIMING
The returned goods are delivered to our trusted logistics and the staff in charge checks the returns as quickly as possible. The methods and times of reimbursement vary, in compliance with the legal terms, based on the type of payment chosen for the order:
If you paid by credit card or PayPal we will issue the refund, reversing the original payment, within approximately 7 working days from the date of receipt of the return (it takes approximately 5-6 working days to formally display the refund on the credit card based on the contract stipulated with the card manager)
RETURN REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS
To make a return request you can use the appropriate form at this link . Remember that the items must be returned intact and in the same condition in which they were received, with the tags indicating the bar code and any other seal that is part of the product. Products with the warranty seal tampered with and/or removed cannot be returned and refunded.
We do not currently do exchanges. You can still return an item (for a refund) and make a new purchase (you do not need to wait for a refund to place a new order).
TERMS OF SALE
The offer and sale of bags and accessories products on the website www.lacarrie.it are governed by the following General Conditions of Sale. The products purchased on the website www.lacarrie.it are produced, sold and marked by trademarks owned by BIGFOOT Srl, with registered office in Castel Bolognese (RA), Via Emilia Levante 233, registered in the Register of Companies of Ravenna, no. 181951, VAT no. 02218400394, Share Capital Euro 90,000.00 iv (hereinafter “BIGFOOT” or the “Seller” or “we”).
1. CONCLUSION OF THE SALES CONTRACT
- These general conditions of sale are an integral and essential part of the sales contract with the customer. The electronic sending of the order by the customer implies full knowledge of these General Conditions of Sale and their full acceptance. If the customer does not agree with one or more terms contained in these General Conditions of Sale, he/she is asked to refrain from making purchases on www.lacarrie.it (the “Site”).
- To proceed with the purchase of one or more products on the Site, the customer must first register on the Site, providing BIGFOOT, in compliance with the applicable provisions on the protection of personal data, all the data necessary to allow the latter to execute the orders placed.
- To conclude your purchase contract with BIGFOOT, the customer must send BIGFOOT your order by following the procedure indicated on the Site. Sending the order electronically creates the obligation for the customer to pay the price indicated therein.
- When the customer places an order, he/she will receive an email from BIGFOOT containing confirmation of receipt of the order and a summary of the order: however, this email will not constitute automatic acceptance of the order itself.
- The BIGFOOT company reserves the right to refuse orders from customers with whom there is an ongoing dispute regarding the payment of a previous order.
2. SELLING PRICES
- All sales prices of the products displayed and indicated on the Site include VAT and any other tax that may be applicable in relation to the sale.
- The cost of shipping and transport, if applicable, will be clearly indicated and displayed before completing the order.
- Product prices may be subject to updates. The customer is required to verify the final sale price before submitting the relevant order. The obvious material error reported in the price on the Site compared to the commonly known price of the chosen product, entails the right for BIGFOOT not to confirm the shipment and proceed with an immediate refund of the purchase value paid by the customer without the latter being able to raise exceptions in this regard.
3. DELIVERY METHODS
- BIGFOOT will do its best to process orders placed within 7 working days and in any case no later than 30 days from the day following the day on which the customer placed the order.
- The customer is required to verify, upon receipt, the conformity of the product delivered to him with the order placed; only after this verification, and obviously without prejudice to the right of withdrawal provided for in the following point 7, the customer authorizes BIGFOOT to communicate the personal data (residence, telephone number) to the trusted couriers and/or forwarders used for the delivery of the purchased goods in order to allow the procedures necessary for their delivery.
4. PAYMENT METHODS
- To pay the price of the products and the related shipping and delivery costs, if applicable, the customer may follow one of the methods indicated in the order form.
- In case of payment by credit card, the payment procedure will be carried out via a secure connection directly linked to the banking institution that owns and manages the online payment service, which BIGFOOT cannot access. In particular, the financial information (for example, the credit/debit card number or its expiration date) will be forwarded, via encrypted protocol, which provide the relevant remote electronic payment services, without third parties being able to access it in any way. Furthermore, such information will never be used and/or archived in any format (including electronic) by BIGFOOT. The amount of the order will be charged the day after the order is placed, except, obviously, the customer's right to have the amount re-credited in any case of non-fulfilment by the Seller or failure to execute the contract for any reason.
- The customer is solely responsible for the data entered and therefore guarantees to use only credit cards of which he has legitimate availability.
- The customer can proceed with the payment by bank transfer, the order remains in “pending” status until the credit is credited by our bank. The shipment starts from the date of credit.
5. RESPONSIBILITY
- BIGFOOT assumes no responsibility for disruptions attributable to force majeure such as, by way of example, accidents, explosions, fires, strikes and/or lockouts, earthquakes, floods and other similar events that prevent, in whole or in part, the execution of the contract within the agreed timeframes.
- BIGFOOT will not be liable to any party or third party for damages, losses and costs incurred as a result of the failure to execute the contract for the reasons mentioned above, the customer being only entitled to a refund of the price paid.
- Likewise, BIGFOOT is not responsible for any fraudulent or illicit use that may be made by third parties of credit cards, checks and other means of payment, at the time of payment for the products purchased. In fact, BIGFOOT, at no time during the purchase procedure is able to know the customer's credit card number which, by opening a protected connection, is transmitted directly to the banking service manager.
-The essential characteristics of the products are presented on the Site within each product sheet. The images and colours of the products offered for sale may however not correspond to the real ones due to the Internet browser and monitor used.
6. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
- Minors are strictly prohibited from placing an order on the Site.
- The data entered during the purchase phase must be exclusively your real personal data and not those of third parties, or fictitious. BIGFOOT reserves the right to legally pursue any violation and abuse, in the interest and for the protection of all consumers.
- The customer indemnifies BIGFOOT from any liability arising from the issuing of incorrect tax documents due to errors relating to the data provided by the customer, being the customer himself solely responsible for their correct insertion.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS
- The customer can exercise the right of withdrawal and return the product received, without any penalty and without specifying the reason, in compliance with the terms and conditions set out below.
- The customer can make the return request by sending an email to info@lacarrie.it - within fourteen (14) days of receiving the products.
- The products must be returned intact, unwashed, undamaged and with the tags indicating the bar code and any other seal that is part of the products; products that are returned incomplete, ruined, damaged, deteriorated or dirty will not be refunded. Products with the warranty seal tampered with and/or removed cannot be returned and refunded.
- The products to be returned must be delivered to the carrier within fourteen (14) days, starting from when the customer communicated to the Seller his decision to withdraw from the contract.
- The costs of returning the Products will be borne by the customer, including liability in the event of loss or damage to the products.
- After the return of the products, the Seller will carry out the necessary checks relating to their conformity to the conditions and terms indicated in this paragraph.
- If the right of withdrawal is exercised following the methods and terms indicated in this paragraph, BIGFOOT will refund the customer any sums already collected for the purchase of the products. The Seller generally correctly carries out the refund using the same means of payment used by the customer for the purchase of the returned products, even if a virtual and/or disposable credit card was used. The Seller, for legal reasons, cannot in any way make a refund on a credit card other than the one used for the purchase, except in the case in which the credit card itself has expired in the meantime: in this case the customer can send an email to info@lacarrie.it to agree on the most appropriate means of refund.
- Whatever the payment method used by the customer, the refund is activated by the Seller as soon as possible and in any case within fourteen (14) days from the date on which the Seller became aware of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, after verifying the correct execution of the same and checking the returned products.
8. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
- Any dispute relating to the application, execution, interpretation and violation of purchase contracts stipulated through the website www.lacarrie.it is subject to Italian law; these general conditions refer, for anything not expressly provided for therein, to the provisions of the Civil Code, as well as Legislative Decree 205/06 (“Consumer Code”). The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
- For any dispute between the parties regarding this contract, the Court of Ravenna will have exclusive jurisdiction.
- In the event of disputes between the Seller and the customer arising from the General Conditions of Sale, we inform you that the European Commission provides a platform for the alternative extra-judicial resolution of disputes, accessible on the website http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
9. CHANGES AND UPDATES
BIGFOOT reserves the right to modify the Site, the policies and these General Conditions of Sale at any time to offer new products or services, or to comply with legal or regulatory provisions. The customer who accesses the Site and places an order will adhere to the policies and terms of the General Conditions of Sale in force from time to time at the time the order is placed, unless any changes have retroactive effect by virtue of the applicable law (in which case, they may also apply to orders that the customer has previously placed). If any provision of these Conditions is held to be invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such condition will not affect the validity and effectiveness of the other provisions.
